I mean, what is life, really?
BLOG RPG ME INTRO
I'm starting this... ugh, blog... because sometimes I have thoughts and ideas. Thoughts, that is, about games and nerdy things, that don't fit nicely into the constraints of social media. I'm not a professional game designed, I don't make any money off any of this, I have a day job that pays the bills and I don't make money off any of this, I just like sharing what I've made, and thought about making, and noodling on the strange habits of nerdy people.
Some context/expectation setting: I am progressive person, but I don't intend to use this space for political rants. I try daily to be a better and more mindful person than I was in the past, but of course I am by no means perfect. I am an Old, and am still unlearning all the bad habits that come from growing up as a cis white male in the richest empire on Earth (read: playing life on Easy Mode.) If I make a mistake, let me know. I'm always ready to listen.
Okay, with that said, here's what I'm doing these days. Currently I'm running an Actual Play (virtual) tabletop RPG game, using Fantasy Flight's excellent Star Wars system (mashing up Edge of the Empire with elements from Force and Destiny and Age of Rebellion.) We aren't full time RPGers or streamers, so we only play about once a month, but we are enjoying the hell out of ourselves.

I'm also running a private game using the excellent Afterlife: Wandering Souls indie game, a strange fantasy setting about deceased persons trying to recover their memories and eventually move on to whatever Heaven or Hell awaits them. I also run and play in the occasional DnD 5e one-shot. I have this crazy idea that I will somehow be able to fit more games into my life in the future. That, well, remains to be seen.
